Directions

 

Directions from Minneapolis:

Take 35W or 35E north to Hwy 8.

Go east on Hwy 8 through Taylors Falls into Wisconsin.

Continue on Hwy 8 past Barron.

Take Hwy 53 south to Chetek exit.

Directions from Central and Southern Minneapolis:

Take I-94 to Hwy 29.

Go east on Hwy 29 towards Chippewa Falls.

Go north on Hwy 53 to Chetek exit.

Directions from the South East:

Take I-94 to Hwy 53 (1^st Eau Claire exit).

Go north on Hwy 53 through Eau Claire.

Continue to follow Hwy 53 North out of Eau Claire to the Chetek exit.

Directions from Chetek Wisconsin:

From Hwy 53, exit and go into Chetek.

Continue north through town on county road SS past the banks, bakery etc.

Near the North end of Chetek SS will turn left, do not turn left – instead go straight on

county road D. You will cross a long bridge and follow D as it turns right at the cemetery.

Continue going east on D. About 10 miles after the cemetery D will turn right at a small white school house building.

There, you should see a small YWAM sign. Stay on D for three more miles until you see our large, brown sign on the left side of the road that has printed “Youth With A Mission”. This is our driveway, Welcome! (If you get to Hwy 40, you have gone six miles too far.)

 

Directions from New Auburn:

Take 53 North to the New Auburn exit.

Turn right at the top of the exit ramp and go about ½ mile over the rail road tracks, to the stop sign.

Turn left on County Road SS.   On the North end of New Auburn, you will pass County M on the right.

SS will begin curving to the left after M, and as it does you will see a small road on your right called 5 Mile Road.

Take 5 mile Road for 5 miles until you come to a stop sign. Take a right at the stop on County Road D.

Go 4 miles East on D and turn right to stay on D just before the old school house (if you don’t turn to stay on D, the road transitions into F, County D is clearly marked so just watch closely for the sign) There is a small sign at the school house stating, YWAM 3 miles.

Go three miles and you will see our YWAM Northwoods sign on the left.  Welcome.

 

Directions from the North East:

Take Hwy 8 to the town of Bruce. Turn South on Hwy 40 in Bruce.

Go 9 miles south on 40 until you come to County Rd D.  Turn right on D and go 6 miles.

After 6 miles you will see YWAM Northwoods on your right.  Welcome.
